You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Rhythmsbooks.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. WeŽll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). WeŽll notify you via e-mail of your refund once weŽve received and processed the returned item.
Items that are opened or returned more than 30 days after delivery will receive a partial refund. See our Refunds section for more details.
If you need to return an item, please contact our Customer Care Center at 408-246-1002 for an Authorization Return Number (ARN). No returns will be accepted without an assigned ARN.
Items that are Not Returnable
Rhythmsbooks.com does not accept returns of the following items:
- Any product missing the serial number or UPC, if applicable
- Items damaged due to environmental factors, such as rain, fire, etc.
- Downloadable software products.
Partial Refunds
Partial Refunds will be issued for the following items:
- Most items that are returned more than 30 days after delivery.
- Any item that has obvious signs of use.
- Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, or cassette tape that has been opened/taken out of its plastic wrap. (If you discover that the item is defective after the package is opened, a full refund or replacement will still be granted.)
- Any item not returned in the condition it was received.

Orders Returned After 30 Days
Orders that were delivered more than 30 days ago will receive only a partial refund if you do choose to return it.
Shipping
If you still wish to return your shipment:
- Pack the items along with the packing slip (the receipt included in the box with your items) securely in a box including sufficient packing material to protect the item(s). You can use the box the items arrived in or another box, if you prefer;
- Affix a shipping label to the outside of the box and affix sufficient postage for shipment;
- Insure the package;
- Packages will not be received and will be returned with postage due. Be sure to include the packing slip in the box; and
- Ship the order to:

Exchanges
If you received a faulty or damaged item and need to exchange it for the same item, call our Customer Care Center to request a replacement. If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please contact our Customer Care Center for an ARN (you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item), then return the original item and place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order.
Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive at our Returns Center.
